How We Got Started
Back in 2019, our founder Sarah McKenzie was working as a financial counselor in regional NSW. She kept seeing the same problem: people would get excited about budgeting, follow a strict plan for a few weeks, then give up when life inevitably got messy.
That's when the lightbulb went off. What if budgets could bend without breaking? What if they could adapt to school holidays, unexpected car repairs, or that promotion that changed everything?
We started small — just Sarah and a simple idea that budgets should serve people, not the other way around. Today, we're still that same company, just with better tools and a lot more experience.
